Art Instructor - Sculpture, Acrylic, Oil Painting

Kristina, posing with her hand-made snow sculpture.
With roots deeply planted in Prescott Valley, Kristina is a passionate art instructor who has cultivated a lifelong love for creative expression. She was nurtured by a family of artists, including her stepfather, a fine art graduate, who instilled in her a foundation of artistic exploration from an early age.
As a self-taught artist, Kristina has honed her skills through hands-on experience and apprenticeships, including her early days at a local pottery studio. Her dedication and talent earned her progression from apprentice to head teacher, leading her own after-school classes at esteemed schools such as Coyote Springs, Humboldt, Granville, and Cottonwood Elementary Schools.
As a member of Tri-City Music and Art, Kristina brings a unique perspective to her teaching, emphasizing creativity and self-expression. Her unorthodox path has gifted her with a special knack for connecting with students and fostering artistic growth. Kristina's teaching philosophy is built on the idea that art is a journey, not a destination, and she strives to inspire her students to explore, experiment, and discover their own creative voices.
