Piano Program Director

Josh Scott is a dedicated piano instructor, educator, and jazz composer. His background in the arts stems from his formative training at the CHAMPS Charter School of the Arts in Van Nuys, CA, where he specialized in performance and jazz composition. He is active in multiple local bands, bringing professional insights and dynamic energy to the music scene around Prescott, Arizona. In addition to his musical expertise, Josh has extensive instructional experience throughout the region, having served as a teacher's aide at Skyview Elementary, an educational paraprofessional at AERIES in Prescott Valley, and most recently, as the Music Teacher at Primavera School.

Josh is the Assistant Director at the Boys and Girls Club of Prescott Valley, and in this role, he has developed and delivered comprehensive music theory programs to over 150 youth, fostering a foundational appreciation for music within the local community. He brings the same passion, adaptability, and enthusiasm to his role as the Piano Program Director at Tri City Music and Art, ensuring all of our piano instructors meet the high standards set forth by our organization. His versatile, adaptive teaching techniques allow him to effectively guide students of all ages, backgrounds and skill levels.
